Meghan Dickerson, CET
Director of Risk Control, Cavignac & Associates
Meghan Dickerson received her B.A. degree from Rutgers University with a degree in Psychology, and earned her Certified Ergonomics Technician (CET) designation in 2010. She began her insurance career at AIG as a Workers Compensation Claims Specialist, and later became a Claims Adjuster at Cambridge Integrated Services.
At AIG, Meghan was responsible for accepted or denied compensation claims and handled the cases through settlement or trial. She initially specialized in investigating suspicious or denied cases, and went on to handle large or catastrophic losses. Meghan was the designated adjuster for four high-volume national accounts, and also mentored and trained new adjusters. At Cambridge, she was responsible for settling or closing cases that had been open for over ten years, with total combined reserves of over $24 million.
Meghan joined Cavignac & Associates in 2007 as a Claims Specialist. She specializes in helping clients manage their experience modifications by lowering the frequency and severity of their workers compensation claims. Meghan also manages the Risk Control Department at Cavignac & Associates, and is responsible for lowering clients’ cost of risk through comprehensive safety, claims, and human resources risk control programs.
Meghan lives in San Marcos with her husband and three children. In her free time she and her husband like to travel, visit new restaurants and wineries, and support their children at soccer games, swim meets, and karate tournaments.
Diana Dix, SPHR, SHRBP, HCS
Human Resources Risk Advisor, Cavignac & Associates
With a background spanning 20 years in the human resources field, Diana Dix, SPHR, SHRBP, HCS, joined Cavignac & Associates in mid 2019 as Human Resources Risk Advisor. She provides clients of the firm with pragmatic advice and counsel designed to reduce the frequency and severity of employee claims.
Working with clients’ human resources professionals and other corporate executives, she furnishes insight into human resources best practices, presents practical training, and drafts or reviews existing resource materials for compliance.
Her previous career experience includes having served as Human Resources Business Partner at ADP Human Capital Management Services, where she was employed for 13 years. In this position, she offered human resource consultation and strategic planning and development working with business owners and their C-suite across varying industries.
Prior career experience includes having worked as a Human Resource Generalist for Linens N’Things in Miami, Fla.; as a Human Resources and Training Manager for the Art of Shaving in Miami; and as an Employee Relations Manager for The Biltmore Hotel, Miami.
Dix holds her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification, Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP) certification, and Human Capital Strategist (HCS) certification. She also is a graduate of Emerging Leader, a program of ADP. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, San Diego Chapter.
