Crawford & Bangs

Maximize profits and minimize risks through your construction contract.  Project team members have the best chance of accomplishing a successful project when the contract is formulated to your advantage.  Understand the inherent risks in all contracts.  This lunch will provide an understanding of the most critical contract clauses, the effect of these clauses in practice, and suggest alternatives that are fair to all parties in the contracting process.

Learning Objectives:

  • Murder Clauses – Identify, Change or Work Around
  • Consensus Docs v. AIA – Standard Form Contract Language
  • Claims Clauses, including Escalation
  • Indemnity - Statute v. Contract
