    What service or process are people currently using to research new Clients prior to bidding a Job or signing a Contract? We have been bit by a few very unscrupulous Clients recently and our legal spend has seen the requisite increase. We are looking for a better way to avoid these situations before we get too far down the road with them.

    D&B has been suggested, but looking at the price versus the output, and talking with some others in the industry that use it, I thought it was cost prohibitive.

    Suggestions?
